Possible Divisions**
Miss Ages 17-21 years
Teen Miss Ages 13-16 years
Jr. Miss Ages 10-12 years
Little Miss Ages 7-9 years
Tiny Miss Ages 4-6 years
Teeny Miss Ages 2-3 years
Baby Miss Ages 0-23 months
**Divisions will be decided after all entries have been received. **
Awards will be given in each age division for Beauty, Photogenic, Best Smile, and Best Dressed.
Beauty- Sunday dresses or pageant dresses, judged on Facial Beauty, Overall Appearance & Personality. No fake hair allowed. No make-up allowed for children 9 and under, age appropriate make-up for 10-21. Photogenic- No larger than 8.5 x 11, no re-touched photos, additional photos $5 each.

Competition and Judging
Personal Interview
In this segment of the pageant, each delegate will be judged individually. They will be one-on-one style interviews held prior to the pageant. The judges will have approximately three minutes with the delegate.
Judging Criteria: Knowledge, Perception, Self-Expression, Spontaneity, and Personality. Also important are Use of Vocabulary, Voice, Appearance, and Grooming, Here are some things the judges will be thinking about:
• How well did the contestant answer the question in terms of content and knowledge?
• How quickly was the contestant able to think on her feet?
• How articulate and glib was she?
• How personable was she?
*Questions will be about the contestant, their knowledge of the livestock industry, etc.
** Contestants does not need to be involved in the livestock industry to compete.
*** All contestants will be given a information booklet covering livestock information.
On-Stage Western Wear Competition
Judges will be scoring this event from a prime location, front and center, in the audience. Each judge will be supplied a judging form, pen, and light and will score the segment from their seats.
Judging Criteria: Confidence, Choice of Western wear, Poise, Posture, and Execution of Movement. Here are some questions the judges will be thinking about during this segment of the competition:
• How well did the contestant model her western wear in terms of style and grace?
• Disregarding the contestant’s size and proportions, how well did the contestant’s western wear flatter her particular figure?
• How well did the contestant convey confidence with body type and choice of western wear?
On-Stage Sunday Dress/Pageant Dress/Evening Gown Competition
As in the Western Wear competition, judges will be located in the same location in the audience and the same voting procedure will occur.
Judging Criteria:, Choice of Evening gown, Poise, Posture, Personality, Charm, Style, Charisma, Grace, Execution of Movement, and Overall Appearance. Here are some questions the judges will be thinking about during this segment of the competition:
• How well did the contestant model her gown in terms of technique and elegance?
• Disregarding the contestant’s size and proportions, how well did the contestant’s gown flatter her particular figure?
• How well did the contestant convey confidence with body type and choice of gown?
From these scores, finalists will be selected and the scoring will be as followed:
•**Scoring will be based on a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being the lowest possible score and 10 being the highest. All decisions made by the judges are FINAL! Score sheets and comments can be requested from the director Caci Nance.
York County Fall Livestock Test
The purpose of the test is to determine your knowledge of the York County Fall Livestock Show. Study sheets will be given at the April 25th rehearsal. Questions will multiple choice. Also included will be one essay question.
The essay question is:
Why do I want to serve as Miss York County Livestock?
Test will be taken and scored based on contestant number.

Final Evening Gown Competition
MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR COMPETITION:
• I am a citizen of the United States of America, am in good health, of good moral character,
• Failure of the Applicant to comply with any of the terms, provisions, restrictions or obligations hereof shall, at the option of the Local Director result in entrant's disqualification, loss of title and return of crown, banner, and any and all prizes awarded.
• I must present the Local Director with an exact copy of my Birth Certificate.
• I hereby release, unconditionally and forever, any claim against Caci Nance, the York County Fall Livestock Committee and their respective officers, directors, partners, employees, agents, or assigns.
• I may have, by virtue of my participation in the local preliminary, agree to the use of my name, likeness, voice, and or biography in connection with usage in promotional and advertising material.
• I agree to pay the non-refundable $35.00 application fee
• I am currently a resident or have been attending school/college in York County South Carolina for at least six (6) months or I am attending the 2010 York County Fall Livestock Show as an exhibitor.

Judges decisions are final. Poor sportsmanship will result in disqualification. The director reserves the right to cancel due to lack of participation. Refunds will be given if cancelled.
